Cameron Luke Peters is an Oxford graduate. Originally from Durban, he’s spent the last ten years striving to make the Mother City his own like so many global migrants before him.
When he’s not procrastinating on various pieces of writing, you can find him yearning on a beach somewhere, shooting film in dodgy places and picking up plastic bottles off the street whilst shaking his head and tutting under his breath

I’ve always wanted to go back in time, even if just for one day, and experience Cape Town as it was 100, 200 or even 300 years ago. It’s a natural curiosity and constant fascination, even, or especially, as a born and bred Capetonian. Luckily for me, Cameron Peters is like a human time machine and will magically transport you back through history with his engaging, informative and interactive tours. His knowledge is vast, much like his prized collection of books which loyally join every tour and appear to burst out of bags and pop out of his arms whenever required. The novelty in this modern, virtual world to actually walk the streets, go on a literal and figurative journey to discover sights and stories is refreshing.
